With just a few clicks of a button, your video footage will start rendering to create beautiful high-resolution quality footage. Unlike Gigapixel AI for photos, Topaz Video AI is able to extrapolate more detail for an even more realistic look given the amount of information available in a single video clip. It was trained using a neural network that analyzes thousands of video pairs to learn how details usually get lost. The quality of output from Video Enhance AI is simply better than any other product available. Topaz Video Enhance AI is the only product that uses machine learning to extrapolate detail from your footage for a realistic look. Until now, no deep-learning-based approach existed for video enlargement as a commercial product. You won’t find better-upscaling results anywhere else. Trained on thousands of video clips, the AI uses multiple frames of information to achieve better quality and less motion artifacts. This is the only AI-powered commercial app specifically designed for video upsampling. It's perfect for older footage that you want to repurpose for modern use. With the app, you can take your footage from SD to HD with an incredible increase in quality. Have you ever wanted your footage to look sharper with more detail? Take HD footage all the way up to 8K for use in high-quality projects. Video Enhance AI by Topaz is the perfect way to take good footage and make it great. There has never been a way to perfectly recreate high-resolution video from low-resolution footage… Until now. Traditional video upscaling simply stretches resolution, degrading the quality and destroying details.

If you have the choice between two systems and one of them has an anomaly on its star, it might be better to avoid that system altogether. Be warned, anomalies can spawn on the star that you automatically warp to when first entering a solar system, forcing you to deal with the anomaly immediately. They're risky, so you should only take one on if you're confident you can handle whatever they throw at you (usually they trigger a really tough fight). Represented by a yellow checkmark, anomalies represent either really good or really bad events and they can appear on top of any point of interest, creating a kind of roadblock you have to first clear before getting to the actual encounter. Some of these will be merchant stations or planetary excursions-or dozens of other events-but you should always pay careful attention to anomalies. Unlike FTL, where each point in a sector represents a single random encounter, Crying Suns has solar systems with several points of interest you can warp to (for a cost). (Image credit: Alt Shift) Look before you jump into a new solar system Sub-zero guns and cruisers are an effective combo. It's tempting to only go for weapons that do raw damage, but it's better to carefully consider your existing arsenal and how you can manipulate the battlefield to your advantage. But when you pair cruisers with thesub-zero gun you can freeze those incoming squads in place and let your cruiser quickly mop them up. But that's because weapons and squadrons often combo together in clever and destructive ways.Ĭruisers, for example, feel particularly fragile since they can only attack enemies one space away and most enemy squads can quickly get in close and destroy them. The sub-zero gun, which temporarily freezes enemies in place for a few seconds, feels particularly toothless compared to other weapons that deal devastating amounts of damage. Like boomer drones, it's easy to write off different battleship weapons and squadrons as useless. While it might sound like a good idea, repairing them restores their maximum HP to full-and we want them to die quickly so they can blow up enemy squads at the same time. The trick, though, is to never repair those boomer drone squads in between fights. When coupled with any upgrades or auxiliary systems that decrease their respawn time, you can quickly field an army of kamikaze drones to overwhelm your enemy.Īfter beating chapter two, you'll unlock the Kaos class battleship which specializes in this tactic by giving you a hangar full of boomer drones. When boomer drones die, they explode and deal damage to all nearby units. Early on, one of the most effective loadouts I've discovered is loading up on Boomer drones along with upgrades that lower the respawn rate of your squadrons. ![]() ![]() They’ve come out with a lot of different flavors over time. It is a long-lasting chew and while you don’t chew it like you would a piece of gum, it does typically last a long amount of time and is chewy and juicy. Now and Later candy was actually meant to be a gum replacement. These come in a lot of different flavors, including a line of sour flavors as well.Īnother fun fact for you. They still have their traditional hard but chewy candy square that remains popular but they also now offer a variety of chews. Of course, the Now and Later candy has evolved over time. They are very similar in overall design and packaging but not so similar as a candy treat. Originally, the candy came in a small leave of the various cubes, much like what we know of Starburst candies. Finally, Now & Laters came to rest with the Ferrara Pan Candy Company and they remain the distributor of Now and Later candy today. It passed from Phoenix Candy Company to Beatrice Foods. It’s changed hands several times since the candy was originally created. The story of the Now and Later began in 1962 at the Phoenix Candy Company. Another funny tagline about the name was that if you put one in your mouth, you could still be chewing it later because they are so deliciously chewy. The concept behind the name was all about how a person would like it now and definitely want some more later, hence the name Now & Later. There are still some small shops that sell Now and Later candy today but it’s mostly found at gas stations, corner stores, or small shops. It wasn’t long before Now and Later was sold across America at convenience stores everywhere. This 60s candy became an instant hit in New York City with people buying them for their kids to enjoy during lunch breaks or after-school snacks. You wait and wait and then when you least expect it, the flavor is released. Now and later is the perfect name for this unique candy because if you put it in your mouth, there’s no immediate taste or pop of flavor. Now and Later was a revolutionary type of candy because it looked like any other hard-boiled lollipop but had one big difference: its delayed flavor release. The owner of this small business had been selling his goods for years but wasn’t seeing much success until he came up with a new idea: Now and Later candy. This candy store sold all kinds of candies from chocolate bars to gumballs and hard-boiled lollipops. In the early 1970s, there was a candy shop on Manhattan’s west side. It’s this hard square of candy that reminds you of a starburst but isn’t as juicy. Now and later candy has always been a winner. ![]() The most common side effects of SKYRIZI in people treated for Crohn’s disease include: upper respiratory infections, headache, joint pain, stomach (abdominal) pain, injection site reactions, low red blood cells (anemia), fever, back pain, and urinary tract infection. ![]() We like this blaster as an upgrade to the Apollo, as it addresses many of the Apollo’s shortcomings. I had no issues when shooting at a slow, steady pace, but it was when I was trying to fire rapidly that I had these issues with consistency. This can cause the FPS to drastically drop to 35 FPS if you aren’t vigilant with proper priming. I got it to fire high impact rounds at around 90 FPS, which is about par for the course for a Rival springer.ĭo be aware, that if you don’t completely pull back on the priming handle you are more likely to get inconsistent firing when a round does not load into the chamber properly. This button allows you to reprime after you’ve already primed to clear out any jam or malfunction. Once you have cleared the jam, to the front of the trigger on the left-hand side, you’ll find the unjamming button. Since there is no slam fire, the blaster must be primed before each shot.Īlthough I personally didn’t experience any jams or malfunctions, on the left side of the blaster, you’ll find the access door to clear any jams. The Hypnos does not have slam fire, so to fire, pull back on the black priming handle located just beneath the muzzle and pull the trigger. This means you’re able to pull down on the release and reload without having to take your hand off of the grip for a pretty quick reload.Ī left-handed person would have to break the grip to reach over and release costing precious moments of firing time. The magazine release is only from the left-hand side, making it easier to operate for a right-handed shooter. The magazine well is spring-loaded, so when you pull down on the mag release, it ejects out slightly which makes your reload a bit smoother and easier. To reload, pull back on the mag release button, remove the empty magazine, and replace it with a full one. Once the magazine is full, simply snap it into place. To load, the Rival rounds must be individually inserted into the magazine. The Hypos comes with two 12 round magazines and 24 high impact rounds. The Hypnos is also compatible with the shorter Apollo mag, which could come in handy for a few extra shots if you’ve already spent your other two 12 round magazines. The two clips attached to the tactical rail hold the second magazine for fast and easy reloading. To release, pull down on the mag release located on the back left side of the blaster. To load simply snap the magazine to place. There is a small hole in the side of the shell, this is the priming indicator. To prime just grip the handle and pull back. Underneath the muzzle is the priming handle. To unlock the stock simply pull back on the stock and snap it back into place.Īt the front of the blaster, the Hypnos has no N-Strike attachment point as you would expect for a Rival blaster, so you are unable to attach a barrel extension.Ībove the muzzle is a tactical rail, and there is also a second rail on the right side of the blaster. It swivels over to the right side of your blaster and locks into place. To unfold the stock, simply press the orange button located on the left side of the stock. The stock doesn’t interfere with the ergonomics of the blaster when folded – it is a pretty darn nice addition! ![]() The Hypnos also has a foldable stock, which is a decent length when locked into place and makes the blaster much more compact when stowed. There is one sling mount located on the bottom of the grip. Picking up the Hypnos, the grip is similar to all blasters in the Rival series, big and comfortable to grip, but a younger or smaller person shouldn’t have an issue using it either. So with that, let’s see what you get in the box… We will take a look at how that funky stock works (or doesn’t!) how easy it is to load and look at how well it functions and fires (of course!) compared with the other spring-powered blasters in the Rival series. So far, these have been a little disappointing, so let’s see if the Hypnos can improve things. However the loading is slightly clunky and I still prefer the Artemis as the Rival Springer Full NERF Rival Hypnos Review We like this blaster as an upgrade to the Apollo, as it addresses many of the its shortcomings with much better priming action, and a stock. Throughout treatment, it is important to continue to move the fingers to prevent stiffness and minimize swelling. After the fracture heals, therapy may occasionally be needed to recover motion of the wrist, strength, and function. The diagnosis of a torus fracture is made from both anterior/posterior and lateral projections. Torus fractures of the distal radius are among the most common fractures in children but management varies widely between immediate discharge from the emergency department to repeated outpatient reviews with casting and imaging. Minimally displaced fractures usually heal uneventfully in a cast or splint. Occasionally, the fracture fragments are shifted or notably angled. In these cases, setting the bone may be required to minimize growth disturbances and optimize function of the hand going forward. While certain types of fracture have a high rate of complications and require careful monitoring, others do not. ![]() ![]() The older the child, the less time available for the bone to straighten itself out with normal growth. Older kids (>10 years old) have less ability to "remodel" the bone. Buckle fractures commonly affect the radius and ulna (the bones that connect your forearm to your wrist), but they can happen to any long bone. While most buckle fractures of the wrist heal uneventfully, some wrist fractures in kids may need to be set. The degree of “displacement” (the shift or angulation of the bone pieces), along with the child’s age determines the ideal treatment. |
